After graduating from Tufts University, Cindy Salans Rosenheim spent 3 years as an artist with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City.  She subsequently moved to Chicago and worked in illustration studios, including Higgins, Hegner, Genovese; Moonink Phase2, and Jack O'Grady Graphics. She began her own illustration business when she returned to her native San Francisco, where she and her husband have raised three sons and one ill-behaved and loveable beagle.
